Joseph Gordon-Levitt is an American actor, writer, producer, and director. Gordon-Levitt was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 17, 1981. He began his acting career at the age of six, appearing in the television series Roseanne.
He went on to star in a number of films and television shows throughout the 1990s, including Angels in the Outfield (1994), 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), and Third Rock from the Sun (1996–2001).
