She was born to Irish immigrant parents; a father’s named Peter who was a professional concert violinist and a mother names Anne who worked as a nurse. Kelly was raised alongside her 5 siblings and she is the third child of the lot.
Although born in Queens, the young girl was raised in the Long Island hamlet of Ronkonkoma. She holds American nationality but as mentioned above, has Irish ancestry.
