Melanie McGuire is an American former nurse who was found guilty of killing her husband, Bill McGuire, on April 28, 2004, in a case called the “suitcase murder” by the media.

The couple had two boys and resided in a Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, apartment before relocating to a larger home in Warren County.
Melanie McGuire’s Affair with Bradley Miller
According to Fox News, Melanie and Bill Mcguire were unhappy with their relationship as Melanie embarked on an affair with Dr. Bradley Miller, a partner at the clinic.
McGuire and Miller began dating in 2002, while she was pregnant with her second child.
The affair remained until June 2005, when Melanie was accused of the murder of her husband.
Miller said during her trial that she had phoned Bill on April 28 to inform him she was planning to tell her husband she wanted a divorce once they had closed on a new home.
McGuire’s body had been shot and dismembered and was placed in three different luggage, which was discovered in May 2004. He was 39 years old at the time of his death.
Suitcase Killer Melanie McGuire Story
Melanie and Bill’s McGuire relationship started going downhill after Bill’s wife ignited an affair with her coworker Bradley Miller.
In May 2004, three dark green bags were recovered in and around the Chesapeake Bay over 12 days. Legs were in one, pelvis in another, and torso and head in the third luggage.
The body pieces belonged to Bill McGuire, a New Jersey father of two, and authorities accused his wife, Melanie McGuire, of murdering him.
Police assumed Melanie had drugged Bill, shot him, and dismembered his corpse.
Melanie McGuire, the so-called “Suitcase Killer,” has long maintained her innocence, even though a jury agreed and sentenced her to life in prison.
Bill’s wife maintains that Bill was pursued because of his gambling debts and that the true killer of the Suitcase Murder is still at large.
