Luke Mixon was born in Bunkie, LA, to a catholic family.

Luke was into sports from an early age and was physically very active. His childhood was heavily influenced by his grandfather, Charles Mixon, who served as a B-24 flight engineer during WWII and was also a POW.

He wanted to be enlisted in the military like his grandfather. Inspired by his life, he wanted to attend the United States Naval Academy, become a fighter pilot, and graduate from TOPGUN.

Luke went on to graduate from the US Naval Academy, three months before the 9/11 attack, and as his career continued he went on to win three medals for his contribution in the missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. He finally completed his life-long dreams by graduating from the Navy’s prestigious Strike Fighter Weapons School, TOPGUN, in 2011.

Luke retired in 2016 and began working as a commercial airline pilot. Since then, he and his family have been residing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
