Rale Rasic Children: Meet Simon Rasic

Simon Rasic is the surviving son of Australian football pioneer, Rale Rasic. There is very little information about him. Information about his age, profession, and more is unknown. There is a crime boss in Australia named Simon Rasic but they are two different people.

Born on December 26, 1935, in Dole, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Simon Rasic started his playing career in Yugoslav clubs. He played with FK Proleter Zrenjanin, FK Vojvodina, FK Borac Banja Luka, and more.

In 1962, he migrated to Australia but returned to Yugoslavia after a year and a half to serve in the army. He came back to Australia to play football in the Victorian Cup.

At age 34, he was appointed the head coach of the Australian national soccer team in 1970. In 1974, he coached the Australian national team to the World Cup.

Unfortunately, Rasic was sacked by the Australian Soccer Federation for not being a real Aussie. They replaced him with English man, Brian Green. He later became a television presenter on SBS during the Australian network’s 2006 FIFA World Cup.
