Obituary: Who Is Camilo Palacio? Enfield Man Has Died In Wood Green Murder

Camilo Palacio was killed by a gunshot wound on High Road in Wood Green around 9.30 p.m. on Sunday.

The second of two young men killed in separate London shootings within 24 hours has been identified. Detectives have identified the man fatally shot in Wood Green on Sunday as Camilo Palacio.

Police cordoned off the road between White Hart Lane and Lordship Lane as officers investigated the crime scene outside Haringey Council’s offices.

Obituary: Who Is Camilo Palacio?

At the time of his death, Camilo was a resident of London. He was born on 1999 and is currently 23 years old. However, the boy’s identity has not yet been made public.

His immediate family is aware of the situation and is being assisted by specialized officers, but they have not made any statements about the 23-year-old boy.

Similarly, Camilo’s untimely death devastated his family and close friends. His friends and family expressed their condolences to his family on social media. The reason for his murder has yet to be revealed.

Wood Green Murder: What Happened To Camilo Palacio?

Officers, including firearms officers, arrived and discovered Camilo Palacio, 23, with a gunshot wound. At approximately 9.30 p.m. on July 24, people notified emergency services that shots had been fired on the High Road.

The London Air Ambulance was called, as were the London Ambulance Service and police officers, including firearms officers. Camilo was given first aid at the scene after being shot in the chest.

Despite their efforts, Camilo, from Enfield, was pronounced dead at 10 p.m. His next of kin have been notified, and specialist officers assist them.

A murder investigation was launched after Police were called to High Road, N22, around 21:30hrs on Sunday, July 24, to report a shooting.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Enfield Man Cause Of Death

According to a post-mortem examination, Camilo’s cause of death was a gunshot wound in his chest. 

The investigation’s chief detective, Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton, stated: “My colleagues are eager to hear from anyone who can assist us in finding the individual who killed Camilo.

He added, If there was ever a time to break the quiet wall, this is it. A cruelly took a young man’s life from him on a public street, and his family is now trying to come to grips with their loss.
