Nic Kerdiles Obituary

Nicolas Kerdiles was an American professional ice hockey forward. He briefly played with the Anaheim Ducks in the National Hockey League. Kerdiles was chosen by the Ducks in the second round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Kerdiles made his NHL debut for the Ducks on February 22, 2017, against the Boston Bruins. He became the first player from Orange County to play for the Anaheim Ducks.

Kerdiles was transferred by the Ducks to the Winnipeg Jets on June 30, 2018, as an upcoming restricted free agent, in exchange for Chase De Leo. On August 21, 2018, he was signed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets.

Nicolas Kerdiles, former professional ice hockey player and Savannah Chrisley’s ex-fiancé, has died after being involved in a motorcycle crash in Nashville, Tennessee, early Sept. 23. He was 29.

The Anaheim Ducks confirmed the former player’s death and shared a tribute to Kerdiles Saturday on X, formerly known as Twitter.
