Massey was born on August 28, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Angel and Michael Massey. He grew up with his older brother, Christopher Massey, who also became an actor. Massey was interested in acting from a young age and his parents agreed to allow him to pursue the dream.
Massey first appeared on-screen in the 1999 television film, “Selma, Lord, Selma.” The same year, he also appeared in the television film “Passing Glory.” In 2001, He had a role in an episode of “The Parkers” and then appeared in episodes of “That Was When,” “The District,” and “Becker,” in 2002. The criminal charges followed a lawsuit that dated back to 2019. Massey similarly denied the allegations in that lawsuit and state that the suit was actually an extortion attempt. He said that the attorneys representing the girl had threatened to go public with the allegations unless Massey paid $1.5 million.
