Zobrist started attending piano lessons when she was seven years. Julianna showed interest in music as well as writing poetry throughout her formative years, After graduation, she completed her self-released debut EP, The Tree.
The following year in 2012 she released her second EP, Say It Now, Julianna and her husband went to work writing an autobiography that focused on the role of religion in their lives. Co-authored by Mike Yorkey, Double Play was published by B&H Books in the spring of 2014.
