Juliana Harkavy is a rising film and television actress from the United States. She has unquestionably proven her worth as an actress and is on her way to stardom in Hollywood. As a child, Harkavy made his professional debut in 1995 but only continued his career after a decade. Upon her return to acting in 2005, she starred in two short films before recording her first television role in 2011.

This talented actress is now well known for her role as Rebecca in the 2011 3D movie Dolphin Tale as well as its sequel Dolphin Tale 2. She also had roles in the 2012 biopic Write Love in Her Arms as well as horror films like House of the Corpse and Last Quarter. On the small screen, she is well known for her performance in the hit superhero series Arrow in which she portrayed the character Dinah Drake/Black Canary.

The Hollywood actress was born Juliana JayHarkavy on New Year’s Day 1985 in New York City, but growing up her family lived in several parts of the United States and Europe. She attended Young Actors Space (YAS), one of the top acting schools in Los Angeles, for 9 years.

She began her secondary education at the Lycée Français de Los Angeles, a bilingual school based in Los Angeles where she is fluent in French. She also did part of her high school education in France when her family moved to that country and eventually graduated from high school at Milken Community High School in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in acting at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Acting career

Juliana Harkavy can be described as a beginner since she started her acting career at the age of 10. His first work was in the ad for the horror series Goosebumps on Fox Kids. She featured as an uncredited extra in the highly acclaimed film adaptation A Little Princess (1995). Soon after, she took a very long break from acting and finally returned to the screens after a decade.

Upon returning to acting, Harkavy had roles in shorts like Flush (2005) and Love Is Blind (2006). She also had a minor role in the superhero comedy film My Super Ex Girlfriend (2006). The talented actress also portrayed the title character in the short film Everything Lola Wants (2010) which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the University of Miami’s annual Canes Film Festival.

Juliana Harkavy appeared in the 3D drama film Dolphin Tale (2011) with Rebecca. This was followed by roles in other films like If You Only Knew (2011), A Feeling From Within (2012), Writing Love in Her Arms (2012), and Finding Joy (2013). She was also on the cast of the horror film House of the Bodies (2013) alongside Terrence Howard and Queen Latifah and she also starred in the comedy film Wedding Material (2014). She reprized her role as Rebecca in the sequel Dolphin Tale 2 (2014) and also featured in the horror film Last Quarter(2014).

Like his impressive big screen credits, Harkavy also has several small screen credits to his name. She marked her television debut with a guest role in an episode of the crime drama series Les clairières (2010). She starred in the TV movie Big Mike (2011) followed by appearances in the TV series Graceland (2013), The Walking Dead (2013) and Constantine (2014). The talented actress also had a role in the TV movie Below the Surface (2016).

Juliana Harkavy got married to Peter Christopher Kupchick on June 19, 2014. Unlike his famous wife, Kupchick prefers to stay away from the spotlight and there is very little information about her in the media. However, he is known to be the son of longtime national legislator Brenda Kupchick, who represents the 132nd District in Fairfield, Connecticut.
