Greg Tate Cause Of Death: What Happened To Greg Tate?

Greg Tate was an American writer, musician, and producer who was born on October 15, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, U.S. Greg Tate taught himself how to play the guitar at a very young age. He studied journalism and film at Howard University.

The Village Voice critic Robert Christgau asked Tate to contribute to the Voice In 1981, and he moved to New York City the following year. In New York, he developed friendships with James “Blood” Ulmer and Vernon Reid.

Greg Tate co-founded the Black Rock Coalition (BRC) with some of the African-American musicians In 1985.  Greg knew those who shared a common interest in playing rock music, writing in a manifesto that the group “opposes those racist and reactionary forces within the American music industry.

Greg was the father of a daughter, Circa born in 1979.

Greg Tate died on the 7th day of December 2021, at the age of 64. For now, the actual cause of his death has not been revealed.
