Christopher Reid Parents: Meet Calvin Reid And Marjorie Wallace

Christopher Reid was born on April 5, 1964, to his parents Calvin Reid, and Marjorie Wallace.

His father was Jamaican and his mother was Irish.

Not much information is available about Reid’s parents but his mother, Marjorie, passed away in 1973, at a time when Reid was about 11 years of age.

His father however remained supportive all through his career journey.

Who Is Christopher Reid?

Christopher Reid is an actor and comedian, known for his collaborations with Christopher Martin to form the hip hop musical act Kid ‘n Play.

Reid attended the Bronx High School of Science and the Lehman College.

Aside from music, Reid was on screen for a number of television programs, such as Martin and Sister.

He also hosted competition shows, such as Your Big Break and It’s Showtime at the Apollo.

Reid is the brain behind the theme song of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, and graced the 2008 magician game show Celebracadabra.

Some of the movies he stared in include The Asylum’s film War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave,  Supah Ninjas, and “Sorry for Party Rocking”.

In 2012, he did a voice over for the military shooter video game Spec Ops: The Line, in which he also played the role of Lt. Alphanso Adams.
