Apostolos Tsitsipas: Who Is Stefanos Tsitsipas’ Father?

Apostolos Tsitsipas is the father of Greek tennis player, Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Apostolos is a trained tennis coach who studied tennis coaching at the University of Athens.

He had coached his son, Stefanos since he was aged and helped him win four ATP Tour singles titles.

Apostolos is of Greek origin and was born in Proastio, Karditsa.

He is married to Julia Apostoli, a former world number 1 tennis player who represented the Soviet Union in the Federation Cup.

Apostolos and Julia served as tennis instructors at the Astir Palace resort hotel in Vouliagmeni. The couple had first met at a WTA tournament in Athens and today they have four children who are all tennis players – Stefanos, Petros, Pavlos, and Elisavet.

Apostolos on a personal note, is a lover of philosophy and mathematics. He loves to travel and explore new places and experience new cultures.

He spends most of his time enjoying nature, and reading historical books and biographies.
