Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Industrial Education Technology under the Faculty of Education in the above Universities include;
Mathematics, Physics and one (1) other Science subject.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Industrial Education Technology;
You require;
Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include Physics or Mathematics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) KADPOLY requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics and other subjects in English Language, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, TC II and Pre-NCE (T).
(iv) KADPOLY accepts ‘O’ Level and Federal Craft Certificate, National Technical Certificate (NTC) with Mathematics and other relevant subjects.
(viii)YABATECH – No UTME admission.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Industrial Education Technology, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Physics and Mathematics.
(ii) ND lower credit in Civil Engineering, Production/Electrical Engineering.
(iii) Final City and Guilds or its equivalent plus National Technical Certificate.
(iv) NCE credit in Technical Education plus ‘O’ Level credit passes in Physics or Mathematics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) YABATECH accepts ND in Civil, Mechanical, Production, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, NCE Technical with a pass. City and Guilds final or Engineering Technicians Part II Certificate.
(ii) KADPOLY requires NCE Technical merit in relevant programme or C grade in all major subjects and accepts into a two(2)-year programme candidates from institutions affiliated to ABU.
(iii) KADPOLY accepts ND lower credit in relevant programme.
(iv) KADPOLY accepts full Technological Certificate in related technical subjects and Technical Teachers Certificate (TTC).
