Animal Nutrition can be studied under the Agriculture in the following Nigerian Universities;

  • Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)

Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Animal Nutrition under the Faculty of Agriculture in the above Universities include;

Biology/Agricultural Science., Chemistry and Mathematics/ Physics.

O’Level Requirements

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Animal Nutrition;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes in Agricultural Science/Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and any two (2) other subjects and at least ‘O’ level pass in English Language and Physics.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUNAAB requires

a. credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

b. at least ‘O’ level pass in Physics.

c. candidates with ‘O’ level pass in Biology must possess ‘O’ level credit pass in Agricultural Science. Does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Animal Nutrition, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2) ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in Chemistry and Biology or Agricultural Science.

 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUNAAB accepts (a) Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in Chemistry and one (1) of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Mathematics or Physics.
